Ms. Chethana Badekar

Dr. Chethana Badekar holds PhD in Botany and posses fifteen years of experience in teaching and research on Botany, Natural ResourcesManagement and Environment Management and Conservation Biology. She is a skilled Yoga teacher and has been teaching yoga (theory and practice) for cricketers, students from inside and outside India, and general public for the last several years. She has delivered talks at educational institutions and contributed to awareness programmes on her areas of interest. She has executed field programmes including biodiversity survey, plant ecology sampling, soil sampling and taxonomy. Chethana has worked as Project Scientist, Project Officer and Research Associate at various institutions, as Faculty in Botany and as Academic Director for the college of SVYASA, Yoga University.
